Nickel Putter Replacement Grip

ADJUSTABILITY OF THE GRIP
The adjustable Grip Assembly can be used for an adjustment of the putter’s shaft length and transversal (rotational) direction for uniquely individual fitting. The standard shaft is adjustable to any incremental length between 32” to 37”, but can also be shortened to 28” (shaft cutting required).

FIXATION OF THE GRIP
After final fitting by a Certified Club Fitter, the Grip Assembly is locked into position by tightening the TORX-Screw located on the back of the club grip to 0.81 lb/ft (torque in Foot Pounds) or 1.1 Nm (torque in Newton meters).

To conform to R&A / USGA requirements, the TORX-Screw must be safely secured with the aid of 2-component type glue (adhesive), which is commonly used for club fitting. This single drop of adhesive will not allow an adjustment by the player during the game (condition necessary to remain compliant to R&A / USGA standards).

FUTURE RE-ADJUSTMENTS OR EXCHANGE OF GRIP ASSEMBLY
The glued in TORX-Screw can be loosened by using a hot air gun. While using a protective glove or hand gear, simply apply heat to the TORX-Screwdriver while inserted into the TORX-Screw head for heat transfer. ATTENTION: TO AVOID DAMAGE, NEVER APPLY HEAT DIRECTLY TO THE TORX-SCREW OR THE GRIP ASSEMPLY ITSELF. The heating process to loosen the adhesive shouldn’t exceed more than 50 seconds.

After unscrewing and cleaning, the TORX-Screw can be re-used to securely lock the adjustable Grip Assembly back into position after proper fitting.
